All memorials received by Zion Lutheran Church will be used as follows:

Designated memorials: When the family or loved ones designates a specific use for memorials, Zion Lutheran Church will distribute the funds to the appropriate account(s) representing the designated purpose per Zion’s Gift Acceptance Policy.

Undesignated memorials: All memorials received by Zion Lutheran Church that are not designated for a specific purpose by the family or loved ones will be distributed as follows:

1. 50% will be directed into Zion’s general fund.
2. 40% will be directed into a Dedicated Capital Improvement Fund
3. 10% will be sent to the Southeastern Iowa Synod.
